GSI Bollettieri

TOURNAMENT PROGRAM

As they say," necessity is the mother of invention".  Since the beginning of our relatively short run as the management team for the two public Miami Beach Tennis Facilities, we (GSI Bollettieri) have quietly implemented over 14 Junior and Adult programs that accommodates Miami Beach residences and our visitors.  As a result, participants are getting better and desire more challenges.  In response to public demand, we will be hosting a number of Junior and Adult tournaments throughout the year which includes USTA sanctioned tournaments as well.

As Tennis educators, we understand how important tournaments are to a player's training.  It solidifies everything they have been practicing from mechanics to the mental part of the game.  Competition is also the most effective way to monitor exactly what the player needs to improve on.

We will implement a variety of tournaments, some that will help players get better, like USTA sanctioned tournaments and our Club Championships (which we plan on having at least once a month).  We will also have tournaments that are designed strictly to have fun (i.e. Parent/Child Doubles Tournaments) and on some occasions  we will attempt to acheive a combination of both objectives like our Student/Pro tournaments.  The bottom line is that tournaments will help us get closer to our goal of providing the public the best possible tennis training available.  For detailed information about up coming tournaments click here.
